In the beginning of his college career, J-RoMeO pledged Lambda Sigma Upsilon Latino Fraternity Incorporated. As a neophyte, new to his organization, he was given the position of National Step Master and National Stroll Master. Through his leadership he reinvented the art form of stepping and strolling. His infusion of dance, theater, and athleticism has given him and his team numerous championships.
In 2005 and 2006, he toured America competing in the biggest competitions in New York, New Jersey, California, Texas, Florida, Chicago, to name a few. He became a ‘household name’ because his choreography and performances were so unique and different from other teams throughout America.
